I started painting a sharply foreshortened wall with a sky of contrast, dark to light. The idea of runners and the “path of life” theme followed. I then did the drawing as the concept became clarified. I always draw before I paint as a general rule.
This is a required path. It is the path of the soul, originating from and supervised by higher levels, spanning much more than one human life span. Everyone is on it, even if they don’t know it. It is the path of life, the path of conscious experience, the path of identity aware of itself, the path through “time” while assuming the role of a separate “me” with a flesh body called “mine”.
It is the path of the soul.
